EVOLUTION: HUMANKIND & ITS NEXT STAGE

PART-1 DEFINITION

First it’s very important that we set a bench mark to measure evolution especially in case of human kind.
I mean what are the characteristics and skills that can be used to measure and evaluate the degree/stage of evolution? We talk about the next stage of human evolution but what are the skills and characteristics and how much change in those skills would be sufficient enough to say that we have reached the next stage.
For example- while playing video games a certain amount of XP (experience  point) is needed to get the character/stage to its next level and when it reaches the next level there is a certain amount of increase in its skills and characters Like strength, endurance, intelligence etc along with change in difficulty and challenges.
But there are no specifications in real world for the next stage of human evolution. When we talk about evolution we assume everything in norms/average terms (i.e.in case of normal human being) or in other words the level that the maximum number of human beings posses. Strength of normal human being, stamina of normal human being, endurance of normal human beings…and so and so and Sometimes things are even discriminated on gender basis as well.
This is definition of evolution by Oxford dictionary
EVOLUTION: “The process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth”.
“The gradual development of something” (2nd definition by Google)
Well I am not satisfied by first definition and I find 2nd definition seem to be more accurate. The reasons for that is given below
1-      What do they mean by term “believed to? Aren’t we sure about it?
2-      In some way I do not agree that only different kinds of living organism evolve as there are many other entities which also show the same kind of phenomena.
To understand evolution we must understood its essence and factors that causes the evolution. so  the question rises is
What causes any entity to evolve?
Is it for their survival or change in environment or their own will? that i will discus in part-2.
so far the ans answer of ques what is evolution is
"EVOLUTION:evolution is the continuous process of development by which entities reform, reshape acquire new skills or lose old ones.
Evolution is key factor in generation of new species and even demise of old species...
